Do you control your thoughts or do they control you? This week's Happiness Hint looks at how we relate to our thoughts, and how our relationship to them affects our ability to be happy. Then Tahlia talks to Rae Hatherton, author of the best-selling book, Alive: An Energy Plan for Life. She share her own Happiness Hint, Hurdle, Hero and quote. 

Thoughts, if we don't have a good relationship with them, can drive us crazy. They can go endlessly round and round, stirring up negative emotions like anger, predjudice, jealousy, and so on. Though these are fleeting states of mind, we tend to hold onto them and identify with them, thus allowing them to take hold of us and cause trouble for ourselves and others. In order to be happy all the time, you need to know that you are not your thoughts.
